This paper tries to identify expectations and perceptions of tourists in relation to touristic products marketed at Guaramiranga Ecologic Park in line with environmental protection, on the basis of sustainable tourism concept. The research methodology employs an exploratory method by using sequential steps, such as official document analysis, online data, bibliography and in depth interview, in order to create a theoretical basis as a background to make sound conclusions about the subject now analysed. In addition to this, this study employs a descriptive method by presenting research hypotheses to be further verified through questionnaires administered to tourists. On the basis of the results, it is possible to conclude that tourists expect to find out touristic products in line with the reality of sustainable environment area, with positive attitudes towards sustainable tourism concept. Taking into account the touristic products offer, it is incoherent mainly because such touristic products are not based on sustainable tourism concept, rather, they give priority to profit rather than to adequate their benefits to the needs of environment protection. Also, the results show the ecotourism, a natural regional vocation business, has been little explored, to say the least, because only a small percentage, 25%, indicate that ecotourism is the main reason to travel. Finally, the results are an opportunity to be explored by travel agents, with support of local city authorities, together with the support of regional travel agents, by associating these tourist products to the name of each town as a viable way to promote the existing regional ecotourism.
